Of course, the climate crisis is no joke and it is easy to get overwhelmed by the statistics and facts that hit our news feed daily. At this current day and age whether or not we all agree on climate change, one thing is certain: Humans create too much waste.
What is Sustainable Living ?
Sustainable living involves reducing the amount of Earth’s resources that you use to help protect it.
There are a number of ways you can do this, including limiting the amount of energy you use, using eco-friendly products and changing your diet – but I’ll talk more about that later!
In a nutshell, to live a sustainable lifestyle you should try to have as little of an impact on the Earth as possible, while also trying to replace the resources you do use.

If you want to live a more sustainable lifestyle there are tons of things you can do to to make a change.
Save Energy
By using less energy, you can help reduce the release of emissions in the atmosphere. Lets get straight to the point here. So for all those chargers that are left plug in unplug them, switch of light, and appliances if you don’t necessarily need them.
Go Paperless
Avoid wasting paper especially mail. Choose to receive important documents digital this can also be great for you if you because you will have those documents handy when ever you need them.
So the next time you go shopping consider opting into digital receipts rather than having a paper printed. SAVE THE TREES…. !
Donate Unused Item
If you have a product that you did not use consider donating it to charity or selling it!
Wear Sustainable Clothing
A humans clothes is important for us, however the fashion industry is one of the main polluting industries in the world. Next time try to be creative when you go shopping.
- Go up a size
- Buy Clothes that will last you longer
- Buy from sustainable clothing outlet
- Instead of buy an expensive dress that will cost you and will sit in your closet to collect dust consider renting. ( At the end of the day you save)
Use eco- friendly cleaning products
Majority of the cleaning products we use contain chemicals that can be harmful to the environment. By transitioning to eco-friendly cleaning products you can help to prevent these chemical from having a negative impact of on our environment.

Drive Less
Walk or ride a bike to your destination instead of driving if it’s if it’s close enough.
This is better for the environment and for your health so everyone is happy. Using public transportation is a good way too. I am personally working on walking to close destinations instead of driving.
